Ten Years / Ten Prints

Art Prints have always been an important part of my business - from my first year as a full time artist to today. I love many of those early prints so much that I still offer them in my shop!

As I celebrate a decade of running this small business, I thought it would be fun to round-up my favorite prints from over the years, and share a little bit of the story behind each one of them! Every print is a snapshot of time in my creative practice, and it’s been fun for me to see how my artwork has changed and grown over time.

The Best is Yet To Come (2023/24)

My new favorite-of-all-time print- I painted (and collaged, and embroidered!) the original piece in 2023, but had wanted to make a print since, and was so excited to release the print version with my Anniversary Series last month.

Playing Card Series: Seven of Clubs (2024)

Although the current favorite seems to be the “Three of Hearts” (which I also love!), clovers always hold a special place in my heart, so if I had to choose one of the playing card prints we’ve released, this would be it.

Central Park (2023)

This one always makes me so happy! A print version of my favorite wallpaper “Whimsy.”

Modern Motherhood: Storytime (2023)

It’s hard to choose a personal favorite from this series, so I ended up going with the most popular Modern Motherhood print to date.

Masters Course (2022)

My dad has always told me I should paint something golf-related, and I finally did a few years ago! Although it was painted with nurseries and playrooms in mind, my parents actually have a copy hanging in their room.

Twelve Little Girls (2022)

In an Old House in Paris… this one always makes me smile.

Lily of the Valley Alphabet (2021)

The original for this piece is hanging in my daughter, Bryn’s, bedroom- it was the first piece I painted for her (lily of the valley is my favorite flower), and so it always holds a special place in my heart.

Please Leave by 9 (2020)

A (semi) self-portrait from 2020- this one has been a top-seller thanks to the amazing Katie of Beach Reads and Bubbly (if you love to read and don’t follow her yet, you should!), who has a print hanging in her home library!

Merry Go Round (2020)

I started painting my longest-running (unofficial!) “series” to date in 2020- my nursery animals! Inspired in-part by my favorite classic children’s book illustrations, these whimsical little guys have popped up in so much of my work in the past few years, but the first Merry Go Round will always be a stand-out for me (so much so that I painted the larger “Zoo Carousel” in 2022, so that we could offer something similar in 16x20).

Tidal Basin (2018)

Last but not least! So many of my early illustrations were inspired by Washington DC, the city I’ve called (close to!) home for over a decade.
