ChappyWrap X Riley Sheehey

Introducing the

ChappyWrap x RS Blanket Collection

I am so very excited to share my collection with ChappyWrap with you and your family this holiday season! The collection of four blankets, which feature four unique designs pulled from my hand-painted motifs, is now available to shop.

Last November, I was actually wrapped up in one of our ChappyWrap blankets when I opened an email from Christina (who co-founded the brand with her mom!) about a potential partnership for holiday 2023. I had first become familiar with the brand a few years prior, when Catherine, my studio manager, gifted my daughter, Bryn, a blanket for Christmas. My sister, Brogan, bought a Charleston ChappyWrap for me that same Christmas, and I have been a huge fan ever since. The blankets are somehow super warm but lightweight enough that they don’t take up a ton of space when folded, and you can wash them a million times (trust me, we know) without losing their initial softness.

Working with the ChappyWrap team has been the most wonderful part of this partnership- if you’re not familiar with the brand, I would highly, highly recommend listening to Christina’s episode on the “How’d She Do That” podcast. Christina and I have similar backgrounds (we both started out working in the education field before eventually pivoting to our current jobs), and I just really admire how she and her mom and their team built their business from the ground up with grace, integrity, and intention.

When I started working on these designs last year with the ChappyWrap team, my goal was to create patterns that look and feel like art for your home. We pulled references from some of my favorite sources of inspiration- folk art, block printed textiles, antique bone inlay, and botanical motifs- and added a festive spin, resulting in four blankets that are just waiting to become holiday heirlooms.

We have renamed my daughter’s ChappyWrap the “cozy” blanket in our household, as we know to grab it whenever she sits on the couch and declares that she wants to be “cozy.” My hope is that your new ChappyWrap becomes your “cozy” blanket for years to come, while bringing joy and beauty to your home!
